Are you seeking Jesus? He loves it when you do. As Jesus came out along the lakeshore, people who were anxious to meet Him and hungry to hear Him came looking for Him. You know what? He taught them. That’s God’s promise to us. “Ask, seek, knock.” God will answer, and God will respond.
God loves it when we are wise enough to know that it’s He that we’re looking for. He’s thrilled when our hearts are tender, open, and pliable. God loves to impart wisdom to us. He loves to help us find direction and guidance for our lives. He loves it when we’re hungry to learn, and He can teach us His ways, reveal His character, and pour into us His Spirit. That’s why Jesus said, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled!”
So how hungry are YOU? How much of God do you really want in your life? The hungrier you are, the more God will feed you. The more open to His Truth you are, the more He can teach you. The more you desire to become a man or woman of God, the more He can show you how to become one. So come like a sponge today, ready to soak up all God has for you. Come before the Lord ready to hear, eager to learn, and open to change. Come hungry and get ready to be filled. Jesus, the Bread of Life, is ready to feed YOU! That’s God’s Word for you today.
