Wednesday Classes

Wednesday Nights at Shartel are designed with the family in mind.

We offer dinner at 5:00 P.M. because we know many parents get off work at 5:00 P.M. and will rush to eat dinner, get the kids ready, and get to church. With dinner being served at Shartel, we hope it saves your family some time. This is a wonderful ministry to be involved in helping to set up, prep, and clean up from dinner.

Our Choir rehearses at 5:45 P.M. to allow our Choir members to eat beforehand and attend one of the classes that we offer.
We chose to have classes at 6:30 P.M. because it allows families time to eat dinner and attend classes. We encourage you to make your spiritual growth a priority and we try to select times that will allow you to attend.

Do you love to sing?  Join the fun as we praise our Lord through song!  This group performs regularly in our 9 AM. service on Sunday. 

 Our classes are split into elementary by grade and pre-k/nursery age-appropriate classes as we dive deeper into God's Word and learn about what it looks like to live for Christ every day.

Join our Student Ministry for worship, biblical teaching, fun, and a chance to engage with friends. It’s all designed to help Jr. High and High school Students know Jesus better. It is intentionally planned to help students grow in their own faith and to have a great time doing it.

Come make connections and grow spiritually as we navigate this phase of life together.

This class will look at why our faith is a reasonable faith.  It explores the reliability of the Bible and what makes it unique as a book of ancient writings.  If you're looking for something to encourage and strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ in a world full of skeptics, then this class is for you! 

From the beginning, God’s Spirit has been at work in this world and in our lives.  This study will explore the person and work of God’s Spirit from Genesis to Revelation.  This is a “ghost” story that will truly excite you!

Ever wished you could communicate by sign language?  Now you can!  Come join us for this beginner's ASL class.  We'll learn the basics, have some fun, and hopefully discover a whole new way to be used by God.  You'll love it!

GriefShare is a 12-week support group for those grieving the loss of a loved one, offering a safe, judgment-free space to connect with others, share experiences, and learn practical coping strategies—reminding participants they are not alone.
