“Walking Through the Psalms”

“God Is Greater Than Your Troubles”
I am praying a prayer over each of you today. I know that you are facing your own troubles. Some of you are in trouble financially. You’re staring at that stack of bills, and you have NO WAY of being able to cover it all. It feels as if you’re under a mountain and that there’s no way you can dig yourself out. But I’m praying for you. Our God is a Great Provider. As you cry out to Him, may He hear your heart, see your need, and respond to your request. I’m asking Him to make a way for you that doesn’t seem possible right now. I’m praying with you that the Lord will lift that mountain off you and bring you relief. May the Lord hear your prayer and answer your cry.
I’m praying for those of you who are in trouble in your marriage. You’re frustrated. You’re angry. You’re at the end of your rope. Your soul is heavy because you’ve done everything you can, and your spouse doesn’t seem to want to change. You’ve come to the heartbreaking realization that you can’t change them. I’m asking God to do something today, to touch them and to break through the walls of stubbornness, pain, and hopelessness. I’m asking Him to soften their soul toward Him and to soften their heart toward you. I’m praying for God to bring healing and wholeness to your home. I know this request is heavy on your heart as you pray today. But I’m praying with you that the Lord will hear your prayer and answer your cry.
I’m asking God to hear each of you today. For ALL of you who are facing troubles of your own. I’m praying for God to help you through the difficulty at work. I’m asking Him to be near to you as you face that health issue that has you so anxious. I’m asking Him to calm your heart about that fear about tomorrow that weighs so heavily upon you. Remember Jesus’ words from John 16:33 today. “In this world you will have troubles. But take heart, for I have overcome the world.” Jesus is greater than your troubles, regardless of what they are. He is our Healer, our Deliverer, and our Guide. I stand with you as you pray today. May God hear your prayer and answer your cry. That’s God’s Word for you today.
