“It’s All About Jesus!”
Questions Jesus Asked
A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding, and she could find no cure. Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. – Luke 8:43-45 (NLT)

“Who Touched Me?”
“Who touched me?” If Jesus asked that question at your church service this past week, would you be one of those who could answer, “Yes!” He was there. He promises that wherever two or three gather together in His Name, He is among them. So He was walking up and down the aisles. He was standing beside you as you sang. He was seated by you during the message. And during all that time that Jesus was there…did you touch Him? Or did you let that time come and go and just check the box that said you had “been to church?”
Have you touched Jesus this past week or month in your own personal time of prayer, Bible reading, or reflection? Did you come before Him expectantly, desperately, and passionately? Did you come to Him believing that He is the Healer, Redeemer, and Miracle Worker? Did you reach out with a trembling hand knowing that, though you are unworthy of His Grace and Glory, you are welcomed as a Beloved Child?
There was a whole crowd of people around the woman who found healing that day. Don’t you find it interesting that she was the only one who could affirmatively answer the question, “Who touched me?” Everyone had the same access that the woman had. But no one else made the same effort. Maybe they weren’t as desperate as the woman was. Maybe they were there for “the show” and not to be touched, healed, or changed. Maybe they didn’t think Jesus could help them. Or maybe some just didn’t believe.
The same Jesus who touched that woman is within reach of you today. He’s as near as a prayer. He’s as close as a cry for help. If you reach out in faith to Him, you, too, can experience His grace and His power. That way tonight, when Jesus turns toward our world and asks, “Who touched me?” you can raise your hand and bow your head in gratitude and say, “It was me!” That’s God’s Word for you today.
