Parent Announcement January 2024

We want to share some changes that will affect Elementary-age families.

Beginning February 4, our children ages K-6th grade will become more involved in the worship portion of our services.

In our 10:30 services, K-4th graders will join us for the music portion of the service, while 5-6th graders will stay for the full duration.

Before the sermon begins, there will be an announcement to dismiss grades K-4 to exit the sanctuary with a designated Shartel Kidz volunteer to attend "Shartel Kidz Club". Shartel Kidz Club will follow the same lessons that we have been teaching previously this year. We are currently renovating Room 109 to host Shartel Kidz Club. If the room is not complete by February 4, we will continue to meet in Student Ministries until its completion.

Check-In: Please check your children in before entering the sanctuary at 10:30. We will have a check-in station in the main lobby.

Check-Out: After service, you will check your child out either at Room 109, or at Student Ministries until Room 109 is completed.

If you are present for both services, you will need to pick up your child from Sunday School after the 9:00 service and transition them to the sanctuary.

If you attend Sunday School or are serving elsewhere during the 10:30 service, the designated Shartel Kidz volunteer will be available to sit with your children in a reserved pew in the sanctuary, or you may make your own arrangements.
