God will stand with you. He will stand with you no matter what you’re facing today. He will stand with you in your relationships. He will stand with you as you have that hard conversation with your spouse. He will stand with you as you draw those hard boundaries with an interfering friend. He will stand with you as you have that difficult talk with your aging mother or father. He will stand with you as you inform that adult child still living in your home that they need to pay rent, do chores, find a job, or move out. God will stand with you as you break off that toxic relationship with that person you used to think you couldn’t live without. Relationships are TOUGH. But you’re not alone. In His Unfailing Love, God will stand with you.
God will stand with you. He will stand with you as go in for that checkup that you’re dreading. He will stand with you as the doctor tells you your options. He will stand with you as you face that chemo treatment. He will stand with you as you head in for dialysis. He will stand with you as you face that surgery, that procedure, and that rehab. He will stand with you when the doctor tells you there’s nothing more that they can do for the one you love. He will stand with you when you have to make that awful decision to take them off life support. There are terrifying moments we face as we deal with our health and the health of those we hold dear. Moments that make our knees shake and our hearts pound. Moments that paralyze us with fear. But you are not alone as you face these scary monsters. In His Unfailing Love, God will stand with you.
God stands with you today as you are falsely accused. He stands with you today as you are unjustly judged. God stands with you today as you are insulted, belittled, and ignored. He stands with you as you drop to your knees in exhaustion, ready to give up. Life can be brutal sometimes. It will break your heart, break your will, and break your back. But as you try to gather the strength to stand and face it all, know this today. You are not alone. The One, who has been through all these things as well and emerged victorious, is right beside you. His victory is YOUR victory. In His Unfailing Love, God will stand with you. That’s God’s Word for you today.
